This looks like a desperate move by the FO just to try to sell tickets. Do we really need to waste a DP slot on a player that will not be fit for the whole season?
As much as I respect Lukaku, our season is lost and the roster needs a complete makeover. Bringing in Lukaku benefits no one. We would god from Wooden Spoon locks to just a really bad team with a super high payroll (and still in the hunt for the Spoon).
Literally no one wants this we are past being feed the “shiny used car” we are educated enough to know what it takes to enter the conversation and this is not it. Like the old saying goes “just because you pour syrup on 💩 does not make it pancakes”

The best Lukaku was Everton Lukaku. After that, he had moments but not consistent ones. Plus always injured. I can’t believe we have sunk this far.
