I’m not sold. I’ve seen some of his metrics and they look impressive. But they’re only from 1500 minutes. Barco has had some amazing stretches of 15 games. Doesn’t make him a transformative player.
Also - he doesn’t strike me as somebody who can come in and immediately be a leader in the locker room and on the field. I hope I’m wrong. But who is bringing the leadership to this team? Who’s the motivator? The one everybody looks to? Feels like we’ve been missing that and interested to see if he can be that guy.
I'm actually optimistic. We had good luck with a role player striker from Italy a few to years back. I wonder how long the Visa / work permit process will take.
I have a bad feeling about this.

Not impressed. With his stats. And the team is paying Pharr more than his transfer market value.
It’s hard to get excited about it. Seems like it was hard for him to get excited about it. Who is excited about it? The analytics team?
That being said, I’m not mad about it either.
Just choosing to go with a faith-based optimism.
Nothing to really take away from it other than “wait and see.”
