Yesterday: Latte Lath.
Today: Former per 90 superstar Alexey Miranchuk.
Key Performance Indicators
Playing time: 31 starts, 2,747 minutes
Overlyings: 6 goals, 3 assists
Goals Added per 96: -0.02, 13th out of 16 starting No. 10s in MLS
Evaluation
That’s not the worst radar you’ve ever seen. However, there’s a big chunk missing that lines up directly with the eye test (sans rose colored glasses). Miranchuk’s chance creation numbers and end product weren’t up to the standards of a $13 million No. 10. That’s especially true when you consider Miranchuk had a few months to get settled in MLS before this season and that the club spent the offseason talking about how their roster decisions were predicated on giving Miranchuk teammates he could play in behind. Producing only three primary assists in that context, like most things from this year, is bad.
