The worst part about Atlanta United is that there is no plan. The talk is always about this transfer or this piece when the reality is the whole foundation (roster) is rotten. We have to bite the bullet and earn our way back by building from the ground up. That means taking pennies on the dollar for Latte Lath and hopefully a bit more on Miranchuck. Nothing we can do about Miggy. No one wants to pay him $7M. Where it gets sadder is that we have nothing left to build around. A couple of nice home grown complementary pieces (Fortune, Sanchez, etc…). So basically we have clear roster spots to use the freed up DP money to buy some quality players. Look, if San Jose can do it, so can we.

It is becoming increasingly depressing that the biggest things we have to look forward to each year are the transfer windows while the fan base continues to hollow out.

Swinging for the fences leads to panic moves. I hope they’re ruthless in their approach to roster retooling but please let them be about getting it right rather than getting it flashy.

I can't even begin to understand why we are even looking at making Berrocal permanent. Don't we know how to wipe our chin and walk away from awful contracts by now? Seriously, let's just say thanks for dropping by, and go find a much cheaper CB so we can focus on areas of need. Normally I wouldn't ask for a cheaper one, but I doubt we could find one worse for even half his cost.
