Atlanta United returned to MLS play on Saturday with a trip to Montreal and found themselves back in the loop of disappointing results. The Five Stripes created a bucket full of chances on the night but needed a flukey Alexey Miranchuk tap-in a few minutes from the full-time whistle to salvage yet another useless draw against a bad team.
Stop me if you’ve heard this before, but the performance was slightly improved with the team generating chance after chance, yet somehow the night ended up being massively disappointing thanks to some horrendous finishing and a couple of defensive lapses.
