Great post Rob. I was slightly critical of Saba at one point this season. For his 1 million dollar cap hit he had only produced 2 goals and 2 assists when I pinned my comment. Anyway I didn't think the production to that point justified the 1 million dollar cap hit. But boy has be hit a new gear since I wrote that and it is fun to watch. I take credit as he must have read my post and gotten a bit motivated. =). Also since we are not doing player ratings I want to give a shoot to Hernandez who quietly had a really good match last night. I know he is sometimes frustrating to watch but man last night I thought he stood out.
I have been a big fan of Saba for a while. It is his work rate and attitude. He just keeps going and will do what it takes to help the team. You rarely see him getting upset at his teammates. He just seems to want to play where the manager says and float around to make an impact. He does what you want from a winger. Thanks Rob for the article.
Saba is as good as written. I believe you may be selling him short. I believe you should ask him what he thinks but he is a team player and he will support his team. I wonder if the reason he is showing so well is he likes being the go to player? Not anger.
How about other players that work as hard. Ron Hernandez may not be scoring but he is fun to watch since he shows no fear of the player trying to attack him.
"The club we all fell in love with is unrecognizable" "shell of club" "incredible work rate and attitude" Rob can arrange words incredibly well! Thanks for putting my thoughts into a post
Rob opened his heart
ATL’s Player of the Year for sure. His production is really fantastic for a TAM player.
*any player
You can tell the supporters have a connection with him at the matches.

Hernandez plays up a notch when he puts on the captain’s armband.
