Real Salt Lake vs. Atlanta United: Player Ratings

Rating the performances of the Five Stripes.

Atlanta United suffered their second straight loss away from home this week, losing 5-2 to Real Salt Lake.

The score line was not pretty, but doesn’t do justice to how competitive the Five Stripes were against a top club in MLS in the first half. Rob Valentino’s side conceded a goal in the opening minute of the match and then outplayed RSL for the next 45 minutes.

Unfortunately, a flat second half mixed with some defensive errors led to a lopsided loss that you can’t make many excuses for.
