I believe to get a new manager and DP striker, Boca needed to be gone. And maybe it took an obvious failure by Boca in obtaining one to get rid of him. I have zero idea of the internal politics of AUFC, but if you look at the Falcons, most people there have to really show a long stretch of bad to be fired. And some still fail up.
As you can see most players tune out the remaining games. I hope the fan base that attend the games through season tickets holder give them a nice boo through out the game for there last days in Atlanta.
