Latte Lath enters concussion protocol
Atlanta United's striker entered protocol after further evaluation after the team's draw against New York Red Bulls.
Atlanta United striker Latte Lath has entered MLS’s concussion protocol following Atlanta United’s 0-0 draw against New York Red Bulls Saturday night.
Per a club spokesperson, after a collision in the 38th minute, Latte Lath passed both an immediate on-field evaluation as well as an off-field evaluation during halftime. He was subbed off in the second half and after further evaluation was placed into concussion protocol after the match.
Latte Lath’s timetable is day-to-day. The league’s concussion protocol requires a five-day break in activity, but after which he can return to play immediately upon passing requisite tests. His current status for Sunday night’s game against Inter Miami is questionable.
If he cannot play, Ronny Deila could be forced into another selection issue, as Latte Lath’s backup Jamal Thiare missed Saturday’s game with a quadriceps strain.
He definitely didn't look right after coming back on.
I guess we’ll soon be seeing if Cayman is a dude or a Cubo.
