There’s going to be a lot of season preview content coming out in the next couple of weeks and I know for a fact that the only thing on your mind as you look at each non-Atlanta United team will be “Is Atlanta United better than this non-Atlanta United team?

We’re going to try and answer that. At least on paper.

The important thing to remember though is that this is MLS. Transfers and trades can still happen, injuries will happen, and some poor team is going to underperform their underlying numbers by like 100 goals this season. Things get weird off the paper.
