With Atlanta United cutting the cord on the Gonzalo Pineda era, Rob Valentino will step into the big chair once again for his second stint as interim manager. Goodness, does he have a tall task ahead of him with the timing of the move.

The Five Stripes resume play Saturday, June 15 when they host the Houston Dynamo. This will come on the heels of an international window that will see them lose seven players temporarily and a few of them for a longer period of time. There’s also the matter of potential injuries and transfers complicating things further.

I thought it would be productive to lay out exactly who will be unavailable for selection, who could be missing, and what Rob has to work with as far as lineups go.
