Happy New Year, We're Pivoting to Video
(Only kind of, don't panic)
Just a quick update on a couple of additions to FSF for 2026.
First, we’re biting the bullet and caving to building our audience a little more on social. We’ve got a tight-knit community here, but we can always make the tent a little bigger, right?
So, if you haven’t already, go ahead and give us a follow on Instagram, YouTube and TikTok. We’ll be posting short-form videos there designed to throw some Atlanta United and Atlanta’s Unnamed NWSL Team coverage into your doomscrolling. Unclear if that will make it more depressing or not, but it might catch someone’s attention.
We’ll also be adding some longer-form video coverage as well. The plan right now is for me and Joe to take a few moments each week during the season and break down some tape from each match. That will be for paid subscribers only, so, if you’re still hanging on the supplemental roster, you’ll want to get on the senior roster to watch. More on that later.
Oh, and keep an eye out. There might be some tweaks to logos etc. and that might mean merch etc. We’ll see.
For now, Happy New Year and thanks for being a part of all this. May 2026 be a lot more like 2018 than 2025.
You have to play to the strengths of your roster and with a handsome quotient this high pivoting to video is just smart tactics.
I am somewhat concerned that the sober analysis y'all do so well isn't a good match for short-term video specifically. If you've got any spicy memes or hot takes that's the place to throw them. I see this with Brad at locked in hawks where despite excellent content he's swimming upstream against the current of the algorithm.
