FC Cincinnati vs. Atlanta United: Player Ratings
Rating the performances of the Five Stripes.
Atlanta United’s winless streak has been extended to seven with a 1-0 loss away to FC Cincinnati. The hosts scored one of the easiest goals you’ll ever see seven minutes into the match and pretty much controlled the game from there on out.
Here is my take on how the players did individually.
Player Ratings
GK: Brad Guzan - 5
I keep giving him a 6 and people get mad. So here’s a 5.
LB: Caleb Wiley - 5
Zero shots. One cross attempt. Cardio.
CB: Luis Abram - 3
Probably his worst performance as an Atlanta United player and the bar was already quite low.
CB: Noah Cobb - 5
Gutted out the 90 minutes. Didn’t embarrass himself.
RB: Brooks Lennon - 5
Two key passes. Nine crosses attempted, one successful. Four long balls attempted, one successful. Continues to be unimpactful.
MF: Bartosz Slisz - 6
Completed five of six long balls he attempted. Cool, I guess?
MF: Dax McCarty - 5
Two interceptions, two tackles. A little bit of leadership. He felt like somewhat of an improvement.
MF: Jay Fortune - 4
He was just kind of out there vibing.
LW: Thiago Almada - 3
HERE IS YOUR BURIAL RAGE RATING. ARE YOU HAPPY NOW?
ST: Giorgos Giakoumakis - 5
Two shots, one on target. Possibly two injuries. Forty-five angry hand gestures.
RW: Saba Lobjanidze - 5
Did his usual Saba thing. Got in some dangerous spots and did little with it.
SUB: Xande Silva - 5
Did his usual Xande thing. Got in some dangerous spots and did little with it.
SUB: Stian Gregersen - 6
Looked great. Stop getting hurt, please. Save us.
SUB: Jamal Thiare - 5
I wasn’t watching when he came on. Here’s a 5.
SUB: Edwin Mosquera - 5

SUB: Tristan Muyumba - 4
I wasn’t watching when he came on but Sam wasn’t happy with him in the Discord. Here’s a 4.
Pineda Out Probability - 50%
In the end, it’s another loss. But this match was never going to change much unless it got out of hand. Even at full strength and in good form, no one is going to expect much from this fixture. They’ll lean on it as a moral victory because they kept it close with a modicum of competitiveness at the end.
Holy cow Rob, being sarcastic-who knew. Keep doing you. I am a dedicated fan but it is-has become so hard to be excited and to watch. When Fortune is starting it tells me we just don't care if we win or not. Look up the stats and see if he has started and we won. When they scored, Kelsey was so wide open. Why was Morales and Gregersen on the bench, they are just better. Sell GG and make what money you can, he cries more than he does anything. The announcer stated they (meaning ATL) have changed their tactics. Why on earth is Pineda in charge of anything? He's just not a Head Coach. 3-5-2 played correctly with the correct players and we had a chance. I would put Morales-Gregersen-Cobb as my 3---Wiley-Myumba-Dax-Slisz-Lennon as my 5--Almada and a forward of your choosing. (Brennan, Jamal, Rios) or maybe get a one. This is what most teams play against us and they win. Abram is so inconsistent he just need not play. We have Brennan on the bench, give him a shot. Sell, Sell, Sell like a stock exchange with these players Wolff, Misquera, Abram, Fortune, GG, Hernandez. Rios and Jamal try harder than GG, they may not score as much but they work harder. Pineda and Boca just don't have a clue! Garth was hired to help and he just talks with NO action. Please Garth make a move to better this club, we have a very large fan base that has suffered for 5 plus years after Boca dismantled the winning team. Sorry for the rant..
Abram is the player that is likely to get the second buyout in my opinion. He’s been terrible. With how much his salary is too, he’s underperforming.
