Atlanta United: Road Warriors?
The Five Stripes picked up their second straight win away from home with a gutsy, if not a bit lucky, effort against D.C. United. Despite being dominated it pretty much every facet, a moment of absolute brilliance from Thiago Almada earned his side the much-needed win.
It was always going to be ugly to come away with a win in this one, and that’s exactly what Rob Valentino’s side came out and accomplished. They made it ugly, got their goal, and gutted out the win. A great result, no matter how they got there.
