Atlanta United’s miserable away stretch continued on Saturday night with a 1-0 loss to CF Montreal. An ultra-conservative approach put the Five Stripes in position for the smash and grab in the second half, but the hosts had different plans as they found the net after the break.
Stian Gregersen’s second yellow card of the match in the 55th minute set Atlanta back even further. Despite Brad Guzan having one of his best matches in years, his attack couldn’t find a goal to salvage a point.
