I can’t even comprehend what just happened. Atlanta United have snapped their seven-match home winless streak in the most dramatic and hilarious of fashions.

With the final whistle seemingly a formality, Jamal Thiare pulled off a heist worthy of the plot of a new Ocean’s movie. Hiding behind Toronto FC’s Luka Gavran as he was about to punt the ball and presumably hear the referee blow for full-time, he waited and hoped for a mistake. And a mistake he received as the goalkeeper placed the ball down and Thiare pounced like the luckiest person on planet earth for the winning goal.

A truly unbelievable ending to a soccer match.
