Atlanta United vs. New England Revolution: Player Ratings
Rating the performances of the Five Stripes.
Atlanta United celebrated their home opener with a resounding 4-1 win over the New England Revolution on Saturday night. Buoyed by two penalty calls in their favor, the Five Stripes piled on the pressure after taking a two-goal lead and the goals started flowing.
It wasn’t a flawless performance as the first half left much to be desired, but that is to be expected early in the season with a two-week layoff after your first match to boot. There were some obvious bright spots on the night as the Benz was back to rockin’ and all was right with the world, at least for two hours.
