Atlanta United vs. Nashville SC preview: It could be worse

Nashville are not good.

We don’t have to spend a ton of time here this morning. Atlanta United should beat Nashville. That’s the bottom line. Any other outcome should be regarded as a total failure for a group that has had a few too many of those this season.

As bad as this Atlanta United season has been, there’s an argument that Nashville have it worse. They’re sitting last in the East on points, their underlying numbers are among the worst in the league and the roster has none of the future flexibility fans can attach their hopes and dreams to in Atlanta.
