Atlanta United returned home with a full-strength lineup and found their way back in the winner’s circle with a 3-0 win over the Chicago Fire on Sunday. With the pesky international window behind them, Gonzalo Pineda’s side picked up from where they left off with a dominant performance once again.
Giorgios Giakoumakis opened the scoring before halftime, while Jamal Thiare added two off the bench in the second. The Fire were overmatched all afternoon and never really threated Brad Guzan’s goal.
