The depressing times are back after Atlanta United suffered their fifth straight home loss of the season, setting the franchise record of home losses in a single season. The Five Stripes couldn’t build off their incredible midweek win against Miami and head into the international break with many questions to answer.
Our worst fears were realized as the Miami match proved to be an outlier as once again Gonzalo Pineda’s side struggled to break down a competent and organized defense at home. After conceding on the counter, they were unable to find their way back into the match, suffering defeat in front of the 17’s for a remarkable fifth time in a row.
Here is my take on how the players did individually.
