Oh, thank god. Something good happened. It’s about time. I would have rather swan-dived from a helicopter into an active volcano than have had to sort through another Open Cup loss.

Instead, Atlanta United took care of business in a 3-0 win over Charlotte Independence. That doesn’t mean the season is saved and you can start saving up for MLS Cup tickets. But Atlanta offered a lot to like last night. I have a few brief thoughts.
