3 thoughts on Atlanta United’s scoreless draw vs. RBNY
It was bad. But also good. And also bad again.
Atlanta United played the pesky New York Red Bulls to a scoreless draw at home on Saturday night. The result moves the Five Stripes to four points through their first three matches of the season.
Once again, Ronny Deila’s side enjoyed a successful first half with several big chances created in the attacking end. Unfortunately they were once again unconverted. The negative pattern of regressing as a team in the second half reared its head for the third match running. Thankfully, the Red Bulls were also unable to find the net. Leaving both sides to share the points in what was probably a fair result.
Here are a few thoughts as Atlanta United are still trying to figure things out early in this new project.
