Atlanta United have won three straight MLS matches for the first time in nearly five years. A 2-1 victory over bottom-of-the-table Sporting KC on Sunday night pulled the Five Stripes within three points of a playoff spot.
For a team that was very bottom of the MLS table just two weeks ago, Tata Martino’s side are now within striking distance of breaking into the postseason.
