A few promising signs!
Atlanta United defeated their old foes the New York Red Bulls on Saturday night. It is just the team’s fourth win of the season, but it does lift them over Sporting Kansas City in the Wooden Spoon race.
Despite falling behind in the sixth minute, the Five Stripes scored two second half goals to complete the comeback and grab the three points at home.
One surprising addition to the lineup gave us cause for optimism, while there is still work to be done in the attacking end of the field. Here are three thoughts on Atlanta finally getting back in the win column.
