Atlanta United were the better team for 45 minutes on Saturday. Then it quickly unraveled after halftime as they suffered their first defeat at the hands of Charlotte FC, 2-0.
It was truly a tale of two halves as the Five Stripes were unable to take advantage of their first half superiority and fell victim to a couple of counter-attacks in the second to pick up their first L.
