Atlanta United’s three match winning streak came to an end Saturday night with a 2-1 loss to LA Galaxy.
Despite controlling most of the match and taking the lead through a brilliant individual goal by Jay Fortune in the 69th minute, the Five Stripes conceded twice in the final 20 minutes to drop their last home match for a couple of months.
Performance wise, the result probably isn’t a fair one. But there are still some clear holes within the team that are holding it back from progressing. Here are a few thoughts about it:
