Coming into play on Saturday, Atlanta United hadn’t won an away match all season and had never won a match away to the New York Red Bulls. Neither of those things changed as the Five Stripes failed to overcome yet another early deficit and saw their two-match winning streak end with a whimper.
Yet another individual defensive blunder proved costly as Atlanta were forced to play from behind just three minutes into the match and were unable to find an answer at the other end of the field.
